Since starting the community-led project to restore Ray Mill Island and allow the wildlife to thrive, we have had many volunteers who have given just two hours of their time on a Saturday afternoon.
Various people have used their talents and kindness and we now have the beginnings of a mural on the back of the toilet block, Craft Coop have made a bird and wildlife trail and we have worked on the gardens and dry hedging.
This is ongoing and we need more volunteers to help with our Saturday afternoon Island TLC.
